Mr. Pourreza has years of legal experience in several areas of the law but has focused mainly on Personal Injury litigation over the last decade. As lead counsel, he has been involved in hundreds of Personal Injury lawsuits against nearly all of the largest insurance companies in the nation. His experience in litigation has provided a great understanding of how attorneys for insurance companies approach, evaluate, and defend claims. His experience in mediation and negotiations has provided an advantage for clients in obtaining high-value settlements both in and out of court. In 2020, one of his trial verdicts landed him the recognition of obtaining one of the top 50 Personal Injury trial verdicts in the entire southeast segment of the nation.
Mr. Pourreza’s legal experience includes criminal law as a prosecutor in the State Court of Fulton County, where he gained a vast amount of courtroom experience. He has been involved in hundreds of hearings of various types throughout his career as a State prosecutor. His experience also included trial court and the prosecution of a wide variety of cases including automobile-related cases from minor motor vehicle accidents to DUIs and catastrophic collisions including vehicular homicide cases.
Additionally, Mr. Pourreza’s legal experience includes numerous high-profile daycare child abuse cases. These daycare abuse and negligence cases have led to the office expanding its practice areas to include not only daycare abuse and negligence but nursing home and eldercare abuse and negligence as well.
Mr. Pourreza obtained his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Georgia Tech, a.k.a. Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta. After a ten-year career in residential construction management, he obtained his law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
